So that’s how it works

Useful Cardiac Stress

Since the heat is transferred to your body at a frequency of 6,340 nm, a warming effect is created deep in your muscle tissue and in your organs.
Your body reacts to that deep, warming effect by increasing the volume of the heart and the heart rate via stimulation of the hypothalamus.
This ‘beneficial heart stress’ produces the same effects as cardiovascular training and exercise.

Extensive research performed at NASA in the early 1980s showed that infrared stimulation of cardiovascular function
